Legends is a fast-paced first-person-perspective online multiplayer game released as freeware. The game is designed to take advantage of the beautiful environments available from the Torque engine it is based on, while still offering the breakneck pacing and variety of styles available from such classics as Quake and Tribes.

Before Installation

Make sure that the driver to your 3D graphic card is proper installed and working.
Check if your sourcelist is correctly set.

Next, installation of the 32-bit layer libs.

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude safe-upgrade
sudo aptitude install ia32-libs libc6 libc6-i386 libc6-dev libc6-dev-i386
wget http://www.boundlesssupremacy.com/Cappy/getlibs/getlibs-all.deb
sudo dpkg -i getlibs-all.deb
getlibs -p libgtk1.2



Done.



Installation

Download the linux installation file of Legends to your Desktop.

Download

Code:

cd ~/Desktop
sudo sh legends_linux_gui-0.4.1.43.run


The installation path is;

install path: /usr/local/games/legends
binary path: /usr/local/bin


NOTE: Don't start Legends from the installation window. The installation window is running under Admin rules and therefore will mess up the permission system of Legends if launched. Exit it when installation is complete.

Done.



Launcher

You can now launch Legends by Applications tab —> Games —> Legends
