World of Padman of Padman is a FPS game based on Quake 3 engine. The game is a standalone so you don't need to install Quake 3 engine. World of Padman offers both Singleplayer and multiplayer options so if you don't like to play multiplayer games (which most of the FPS games are), you'll like World of Padman.

Make sure that the driver to your 3D graphic card is proper installed and working.
Now you need to install libgtk1.2 for the World of Padman installation application;

Code:

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude safe-upgrade
sudo aptitude install libgtk1.2

Done.

Download the World of Padman linux installer file from here and save them to your Desktop.

To the terminal;

cd ~/Desktop
sudo sh worldofpadman.run

NOTE 1: DO NOT launch World of Padman from the installer window. Instead exit the installer window. You'll mess up the permission of some files if you launch World of Padman from the installer window because the installer is running with root permission.
NOTE 2: Unselect the 32 binaries.

Download World of Padman patch to you Desktop

To the terminal;

cd ~/Desktop
sudo sh wop_patch_1_2.run

NOTE 1: DO NOT launch World of Padman from the installer window. Instead exit the installer window. You'll mess up the permission of some files if you launch World of Padman from the installer window because the installer is running with root permission.

Now you can launch the game from Application —> Games —> World of Padman.
